Mutual Funds Show a Great Rise at Current Market Scenario
The report from the Investment Company Institute reflects that the total assets of U.S. Money Mutual funds reached $9.69 billion to $2.696 trillion mark recently. Whereas the Washington based Mutual funds trade group said that the assets of institutional money market funds climbed by $14.80 billion to $1.781 trillion, while national assets of money market funds relating to retail dropped by 5.12 billion dollars to 915.43 billion dollars.
There was a steep fall in assets pertaining to taxable retail money market funds, which dropped by $3.33 billion to $718.81 billion, even the tax exempted asset funds also dropped by $1.79 billion to $196.62 billion.
Talking about assets related to taxable institutional money market funds, it gradually rose by $17.2 billion to $1.675 trillion; however the tax exempted funds somehow dropped by $2.4 billion to $ 106.22 billion.
